Courses
The courses at Brain Lift Tuition are designed to provide students with tried and true learning methods that ensure their excellence in any test taking environment.
We cover the majority of subjects for all stages:
Key Stage 1 / Year groups 1-2 / Age 5-7
Key Stage 2 / Year groups 3-6 / Age 7-11
Key Stage 3 / Year groups 7-9 / Age 11-14
Key Stage 4 / Year groups 10-11 / Age 14-16
Students are prepared for all SATs and GCSEs examinations with ongoing support, revision and feedback sessions. We also provide tuition for entries to Independent Public Schools, such as 11+ Entrance Exam and 13+ Entrance Exam.
Tasks are given as homework and are revised in the following class and used to evaluate students’ progress. We also use past exam papers to prepare students for the type and structure of questions they can expect during tests.
We offer group, 1 on 1 and online sessions. Our group sessions are limited to 4 students at a time, to insure that every student gets the 1 on 1 attention but in a competitive environment.
Our group sessions are conducted within the YMCA Bournemouth building at 56 Westover Road, Bournemouth BH1 2BS.
Math Tuition
KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 & A-level
We provide learner centric Maths tuition for all stages. Our Maths course aims to encourage the student finding alternative ways of problem-solving and reasoning with emphasis on independent thinking. We believe each student has a unique thought process and our role is to encourage their natural understating and help them achieve mathematical fluency.
Science Tuition
KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4
Our Science course is developed in such way to show students that there is more to science than memorising complex equations and tricky formulas. We aim making the subject fun and accessible to students of all levels. We are offering classes in all science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) as a combination or in individual basis.
English Tuition
KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4
Effective communication skills from an early age set the path towards achievement. Our English course covers basic to advanced literacy, phonics, spelling, punctuation and grammar, comprehension and creative writing tasks.
Computing Tuition
KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4
Computational thinking is an essential skill for children to be ready for the workplace and able to participate effectively in this digital world. Our Computing course teaches how computer systems work and how to design and build programs based on the students' ideas.
All Subjects Tuition
KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4
Our All Subjects course is ideal for home schooled students or for kids who need support with their daily homework. We cover all subjects taught at school, providing deeper explanation, extra material and practice questions.
